Non-Governmental Organization

A Few Words About Us

The Arun Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to the holistic development of children, adolescents, women, people with special needs, and marginalized communities across Bangladesh. Since its establishment in 2017, the Foundation has worked tirelessly to improve the quality of life for underprivileged populations through initiatives in education, health, nutrition, social development, and humanitarian support.

Inspired by the values of service, compassion, and social responsibility, the Arun Foundation is committed to building a healthy, skilled, and humane society by promoting the physical, mental, moral, and social development of children, adolescents, women, people with special needs, and marginalized communities.

Over the years, the Foundation has implemented a wide range of programs, including health and nutrition awareness, vaccination drives, free eye examinations, maternal health initiatives, and hygiene promotion campaigns. We have also focused on education and skill development by distributing learning and sports materials, organizing cultural and sporting events, and providing scholarships and educational support, particularly in rural and disaster-affected areas.

In addition, Arun Foundation actively engages in emergency relief and rehabilitation, responding promptly to natural disasters, crises, and climate-related challenges. Environmental initiatives, such as beach-cleaning campaigns, reflect our commitment to fostering community awareness and preserving natural resources.

Through sustained collaboration with local communities, government offices, and other stakeholders, the Arun Foundation strives to build a society where all individuals especially children, women, and marginalized groups have the opportunity to grow, thrive, and contribute to a resilient and prosperous Bangladesh.
